Indonesia is crying. merapi's explosion and tsunami in mentawai happened yesterday. as one of its citizen,      i  really want to help. maybe not much, but i think little thing can lead to big meaning. i feel very fortunate that am still here,  while some of us might lose their home and family : ( that's when i decided to throw this online charity sale (well, that and the inspiring ayang cempaka ). so this is how it goes, am selling all my ready stock half price and all profit will be donated to the victims through PMI (Palang Merah Indonesia) account. since this is an online charity sale, we'll be doing this here, leave a comment or simply e-mail me with your requests. my stock is limited, so first come, first serve. the sale is open today and ends on the 30 st. 

Fresh Ide..

Hari ini kebayang aja bikin sketsa yang di buat jurnal..karena semalam sempat browsing tentang cara buat skets yang bagus trus dapet fresh ide dari Ninachakrabarti,...tapi belom bisa sejago dia makanya for the first jadi yang kayak gini dulu ....next time di posting yang lebih niat, ...

Erupsi Merapi menyebabkan korban jiwa :'(
Yang terparah adalah gempa diatas 7 SR dan tsunami di kepulauan Mentawai Sumatera Barat, ratusan orang meninggal dan hilang. Selain berdoa dan berharap semua yang terbaik,....

Teman, Mustahil untuk mengetahui apa yang terjadi esok hari karena belum terjadi. Yang dapat kita lakukan berserah diri kepada Allah, percaya, berdoa dan berharap padaNya. Hari ini kita melakukan yang terbaik maka esok menjadi harapan yang indah dan kemaren menjadi kenangan manis

Sleeping Otters

I was cleaning up my portfolio over the weekend and came across this sweet little illustration of sleeping otters in the moonlight that I thought I would share. It was for a self promo project I was working on, but I never wound up using it.

It's Only Life and Work

So as soon as I started this blog I was commissioned to work on a "four board book project". 

I am not complaining.... always SO grateful for the work and SO grateful to be able to do what I do. In addition I am hoping to focus in on some still life drawings when I get back to it. Going on a mini vacation, well deserved. So you know how that goes, I will be working double time prior to my break and double time when I get back. In the meanwhile, I hope you get a sweet little break this holiday weekend. Packing my sketchbook.
